This workshop is for All levels. 

The class introduces different Caribbean styles such as Cuban rumba, son cubano, salsa, reggaeton and bachata. Let’s briefly go through the basics of the styles and build the choreography using what we’ve learned. Making our own Caribbean show choreography, feeling the rhythm, smile on your cheek bones and sweat dropping on your for head. Get to spice up your danmce training or just getting back in dancing after a break.

Who si Mimmi Marjamaa? 

Mimmi is a dance teacher, dancer and singer from the North of Finland. She has won several competitions and showcases in Finland. The main styles are showdance , contemporary and jazz dance. But close to the heart and strong skills she has also from Caribbean styles. Mimmi has been studying e.g. In Cuba several times and attended several festivals to study the styles. She has also assassinated and taught at the International Salsa Festival in Cyprus. Mimmi is a happy and energetic teacher. The most important thing in dance for her is the joy and enjoyment of dancing, not forgetting technique and expression.
