Living Room Performance Event  #5 is arriving to your home this MAY 2022!! 

These events started 2020 and still continuing!! This time AGAIN bringing something unique and special to your Living rooms! 

Theme for this one is:

•  May Day / Spring celebrations 
•  as well celebrating our 2 years journey in online platform
• Finnish Vappu
• Pandemic graduations.. ;)

Many different shorter performances, dance, music, spoken word and surprises happening during our evening!

BARNEY STRACHAN

Barney Strachan has been heavily involved in music for more than 20 years. In this time he has played and produced music in a wide variety of genres, been signed, toured in the USA, Holland and extensively across the U.K. with numerous appreances on national radio and TV. In 2005 he also gained a BA Hons in Sonic Art from Middlesex University which led him in to a more experimental way of working with music and sound in the context of theatre, dance, installation and education which has seen him work in the U.S.A, South Korea, Sweden, Estonia, Malta, Austraila and extensively across the UK.

He also co-manages and co-fronts popular Edinburgh acoustic ‘mash-ups’ band The Banjo Lounge 4 who have played many festivals, clubs, private parties (for the cast of Eastenders, a pool party in Ibiza, for top fashion designer Jenny Packhom to name but 3).

LUCY MAY 

Lucy May is a Dance Artist, Stage Manager and Poet based in Edinburgh.

Graduating from the Scottish School Of Contemporary Dance in 2012 with a 1st class Degree in Dance Performance, Lucy went on to work as a facilitator, performer and choreographer in the Scottish Dance field working for various arts organisations including The Edinburgh International Festival, Scottish Ballet and YDance Scotland. She last toured as a performer in Julia James-Griffiths’ performance of The Box in 2019. In 2018, Lucy trained in Stage Management at the Edinburgh Stage Management School. She went on to stage manage in various settings including Ironinc Dance’s performance “Yukon Ho!” at the Edinburgh Fringe 2019 and most recently was stage manger on tour for All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre’s outdoor performance “The Swings”.
