Spiced up your dancing and training by our workshops! This April Fabulous Dorine Mugisha is arriving to your HOME with some Whacking vibes!!!!! Day: 28th of April 2024 📣Sunday ONLINE & Live (PLUS on-demand for later) 2.45 pm Session 1: Punk, Pose, Whack. Foundations and concepts 3.45 pm Session 2: Whacking choreography (putting everything together) Punking, later on commonly adapted and refered to as Whacking, is a style that emerged in the 1970s underground gay clubs in LA by people of colour. It is distinctive through the attitude/behaviour, posing and striking with force (whacking). Suits for all levels and adults from 18years to 60 plus!!. You can challenge yourself how ever you feel that day but also what you want to get out from these sessions! DO one or two!! But BOOK them separately!! Payment options: -One workshop £10 -You can get 5 x Dance card £44 (valid 3 months , £8,8 per class, valid for all other up coming workshops and weekly classes online and in-person) -You can get 10 x Dance card £75 (valid 6 months , £7,5 per class, valid for all other up coming workshops and weekly classes online and in-person) -Or 1 month card different options for that (if you are new dancer in my program I have trial month deal, email Pirita.tuisku@hotmail.com) About our teacher this month: Dorine Mugisha, the visionary behind Body Movement, is a performer, choreographer, retreat leader and projects manager. Born and raised in France with Tanzanian roots, she currently resides in the UK. She is inspired by an array of cultures having travelled over 30 countries, and speaks 4 languages; this informs a lot of her work She has a degree in Law & Sociology, experience working in the charity sector for over 10 years and recently obtained her IAFPD Primary Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Coaching.
